AEC WIN THE BUSINESS APPLICATIONS CATEGORY AT THE 2008 NATIONAL eWELL-BEING AWARDS

AEC are delighted to have won the Business Applications award at the National eWell-Being awards for work carried out for Wandsworth Council.

The project delivered savings and reduced C02 emissions across six district heating systems and importantly presents a great roll out potential for Wandsworth, delivering more savings across the Borough’s property portfolio.

The award judges commented "An impressive project using ICT to analyse and significantly reduce energy use in council buildings."

“It’s very exciting for us to win the Business Applications category of the eWell-Being Awards,” said Julian Miller, Director of AEC Technology. “The technology we used in the Wandsworth project has been approved by Ofgem to help deliver the Carbon Emission Reduction Target (CERT). We hope to roll this out to other local authority areas and winning this Award is a real boost.”

AEC were highly commended in the National Energy Efficiency awards towards the end of last year and are going from strength to strength picking up a top quality client list where some significant energy savings are being achieved.
